As the title of this thread probably already suggests, I'm looking for a partner to help me write a screenplay of one of my books. The idea is to convert my novel into a short television series.

The novel breaks down like this:
it is a chronical of several weekend experiences by a kaleidoscope of personalities, each with a different agenda.
each character has his or her own story to tell from within a drug-cultured world.
some of these experiences are connected, others are just random events.
there is no solid plot, just a build up of misadventures.

any interest?

p.s. sorry I couldnt be clearer with my explanation, it's just that if no one wants to help me on this, I'd rather keep the details to myself.

The partner thing doesn't usually work. Conflicts of opinion and styles are hard to deal with. It's your project and your ideas. Run with them. You can get lots of useful info here and other places on the web. Make sure your script shines and is complete before you submit it. Good Luck!

With partner, what I really meant was something a little more like someone who could help me out, to get me started on the road of writing a screenplay, with the format and what have you.

I'd give it a try.
I love working with someone else.
the worst we can do is fail, right? that wouldn't be the end of the world...
