Wow, so far, the only one of these that I've seen is The Departed.

Monahan is the guy who get's things done. We must be the other guys.

Well, he had a pretty good story to make it from - Infernal Affairs was a brilliant film as well.

It's a pretty 'foreign' list this year. Three foreign films and an adaptation of a foreign film. "Little Children" is the only one without strong foreign ties. (Kate Winslet, though!) Good flicks, though, at leastthe ones I've seen.

I've always thought the Globes get too much press. It's a tiny organization, and not all that directly tied to the business. If AW held an awards show, it'd have about as much credence.

If you think the Holly Foreign Press Association is a dubious group, check out the National Board of Review!

I love the Golden Globes.

It's Hollywood's night to shine.

It's a party where TV and Movies come together and anything can happen.

The best supporting actor category is awesome.

10. BEST PERFORMANCE BY AN ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A MOTION PICTURE
BEN AFFLECK — HOLLYWOODLAND
EDDIE MURPHY — DREAMGIRLS
JACK NICHOLSON — THE DEPARTED
BRAD PITT — BABEL
MARK WAHLBERG — THE DEPARTED

I love Brad Pitt. I used to love Eddie and would love to see him win something. You can't go wrong with Jack. Affleck was excellent in that film. I didn't see it, but I can tell.

It's a toughy.
