I'm on a roll, updated twice in two days. This time a commentary on Paul Tibbets, Jr. and his death yesterday at 92. He was the pilot of the Enola Gay. If you are not familiar with that very historic event, you should be. Check it out. Thanks

Which candidate to choose? What they say makes it pretty difficult...trust me, you don't want to miss this! You'll laugh!

Yikes, after posting like 4-5 post yesterday, it seems a little thing called my job got in the way today. I kind of thought my Tony The Tiger goes skiing on Halloween should count as two days, but I know that's not how it works... Not much time. I think I'll rant about professional athletes, but just a little cause I'm not reall that apathetic.

Thank you so much, Kudra! I'm new to blogging, but I've got a lot of things I want to write about. Nancy Drew, Wonder Woman, and some of the others I'll post about had a big influence on me as a kid. Some things are universal, I guess. A cool, smart, strong female hero is tough to resist as a kid, whether you're in the US or India. I love that you grew up with her, as well. Makes the world pretty cozy.

I read that, Val. Too cool. Now I've got to rent the movie and see if I see the shoes (and you!).

I did.

Blog entries are all I can write without feeling like I'm bludgeoning my head against something sharp, and that doesn't, to channel Bradbury, run over my eyes "like hot oil, signifying nothing. Offering no help, no solace, no peace, no harbor, no true love, no bed, no light."

Yep, with so many holidays coming up (Diwali in India, Christmas in America, New Years everywhere, etc), I made a list of gifts people can give me. Ya know, if they want to. :D

Posted part 3 of my fictional role model series. Today's entry is Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. It was also a great excuse to watch the DVD of the movie again.
