Dear Independent Filmmakers and Screenwriters,

Telluride IndieFest 2004 (August 31 - September 5) was a *smashing* success!

Important contacts were made - new friendships forged - and, an ever *growing* number of our Year 2004 winning artist careers are being *advanced*, via:

1) talent agency representation,
2) screenplays sold or optioned,
3) distribution rights being negotiated for several films,
4) PBS broadcast opportunities, and
5) a screenplay that has signed a BOOK deal - based on their script!

It pleases us *greatly* to see our growing IndieFest "family" *succeed* in their respective fields!

--------------- "Dual-Festival" Entry Special!

For a 'limited time' you may (now) enter *both* Key West IndieFest 2005 (April 7 - 10) *and* Telluride IndieFest 2005 (August 31 - September 4) - for one *low* entry fee!

Just go to:

keywestindiefest.com

and click on "Special Dual-Festival Entry Forms"!

------------- fyi:

Entries will be submitted to *each* festival's 'preview and selection' process - and will be judged (anew) by *different* members of each staff.

Notably - 27 of our Key West IndieFest 2004 entrants *also* became winners at Telluride IndieFest 2004 (in which there were 70 total selectees).

These artists were *not* 'automatically' selected (for our Telluride event) - for *each* of the Key West entries went through the (very 'long and arduous') Telluride IndieFest 'preview and selection' process (as well).

-------------

We look forward to receiving and previewing your entries - and hope this message finds you *happy and healthy*.

Film and Write On,

Re: KEY WEST and TELLURIDE IndieFests 2005: Dual-Fest Specia

27 out of 70 became finalists?

Glad to see there are contests where 40 percent become finalists as opposed to, say...

The Nicholl which chooses 10 out of 6,500
Chesterfield that chooses 10 out of 4,000
Austin that chooses 10 out of 5,000.

Re: KEY WEST and TELLURIDE IndieFests 2005: Dual-Fest Specia

I think he meant that 27 of thier entrants (didn't say if any were finalists or winners) were also 27 out of the 70 winners (I think he meant finalists and winners) at telluride (which I believe have around a thousand and a half entries.

Actually, Telluride is fairly respected a small fry comp.
