I entered their 1500 word contest for the first time, then, after sending it via their online form, discovered I’d left out a word. Does anyone know if I should I leave it or resend? I’d be happy to resend and pay another entry fee, but I was concerned they’d disqualify me if I entered two copies of the same story.

I'd appreciate some advice.

Home - but for how long?
I think...

with the W's D rules, that you'll have to let it go.

Just kick yourself and use the episode to remind yourself to leave future competition entries for a day before you actually send/post them. This way you get to reread them carefully, check you've followed the instructions to a T and find those little errors.

Hopefully they will overlook it, too. I submitted to one contest. Well, I meant to write shirt, but forgot the "r". I must have read the story twenty times over and never saw it.

Just know this

They get over 19,000 enteries for that contest. It's a money making machine. So you can figure the odds from those numbers.
