I used the script express service available at sellascript.com about 2 months ago, and figured I'd outline my experience for anyone wanting to use the service.
2 turned out to be a key number: I payed $65 to have my query e-mailed to over 2,000 people at production companies. I got about 20 responses, of which only 2 wanted to read my script. I sent the script to both people. From one guy I still haven't heard anything, but I met with the other, a script reader at a TV channel.
Basically, it was a pointless meeting, since he didn't want to buy my script, and had nothing to propose either. All I can tell you is don't use Voice Over narrative in your scripts. Readers and idustry people seem to dislike it to an unjustifiable extent.
I just happened to visit inktip.com before I came here, and was wondering if I should put my script on inktip. What do you think?
