At work today (my day job) this just popped into my head.
Tell me what you think.
Title: You've Got Bail.
A convict finds romance on the Internet.

Great things have come from as little or less. However I would have to see more, or know how you handled humor in the past to have a real opinion on it.
Many parodies become valid works in their own right, and I'd aim for that, seen as it will take so long to get it into production the title would (most likely) have lost its impact.

I see you also posted this same thread over on Done Deal where it received more response, though some of it bordered on anti enthusiastic.
Perhaps you should develop a logline?

The reaction I got over there suggest that I should have developed this more before I posted it. It was only a thought that crossed my mind. I may do something with it at some point but it will have to go on the back burner until my Accidental Monk script is done.

Sometimes I enjoy taking two movies and fusing them together with a funny name. (See "Rashopokemon" on another thread.) I don't know how useful it is outside of being a basic exercise in creativity, but is sure is fun!
Here's another one:
Rising young '70s porn star ala "Dirk Diggler" gets caught up in organized crime: Goodphallus

Let's play a game! We'll reply to 10-month-old threads whose author hasn't been seen on this board since then! Let's call it, "What Is Wrong With This Scenario."

If it's a dark comedy whats wrong with that? I Love the title and that's almostenough for me to want to watch the movie. I say if the guy has an idea, he should write it. I'd almost think of writingit in the future, but the guy may have wrote it already.

Maybe the original author realized what a trite, overdone, cliched concept this was and quit writing altogether.

GBF, we need to change your name to "GonnaGetPosts". Seriously, dude...lay off. You're not going to sell a script just because you've got more posts than anyone.

If Gonna keeps this up, there won't be any threads older than six months! :)
Joe, what happened to your supercool screenwriter photo! It's morphed into a swarthy Eastern devil!
