PLEASE FORWARD THIS MESSAGE :)

I've finally decided to bite the bullet and try to compile sales figures for erotic romance epublishers.

I am interested in developing anonymous information about sales figures for erotic romance books. Basically I would ask for your sales per book for whichever of these categories is available (you can send the first month figure, and update the data later):
* first month (or quarter if this is how the publisher pays),
* first year,
* and total (when the book ends its contract).

Each contributor would be given a random letter code to identify themself if they want to update the data. But in my records no names would ever be listed, or stored in any place. The averaged figures would be made available on the EREC site ( http://www.veinglory.com/P4.html ) and figures would be based on at least 5 books from at least 3 authors.

I know some authors prefer to keep this info totally private but a similar scheme seemed to work here: http://brendahiatt.com/ (see the 'Show me the Money' section).

If you want to you can email me directly at my personal email address of veinglory AT gmail.com with the subject line 'sales'.

I'd be glad to contribute info, but my book hasn't been out a full year yet, let alone run the course of its contract.

I should make clear that I don't require a complete data set. First month sales are enough to be really useful. Then you can update the data later. That's why I give people a code so I can easily match them up to their data without keep a record of names. I have data from 3 people so far which is pretty good for the first few hours and none of them go to end of contract (which may never come with some ebooks!)
