OK I thought I knew what I was doing and that things were going great, but then I started reading this "publishing childrens books" book and my goodness was I wayyyy off!

I thought what I was writing was PB but turns out they would be considred Board Books... now thats well and good, but now I'm afraid my subject matter wont do well for a board book!

Mine are 7 page books, 2 rhyming sentences per page... but one of my stories has to do with school and if a board book is for ages 0-3 then that wouldnt be of interest to that age group right???? oh my gosh I'm so confused!

How about a quick change to the subject being an older sister or brother? That way you can still use the school concept.

Good luck!

Seems to me a story aimed at younger children addressing why older brothers and sisters go away all day might work.

If you want to share, create a thread in the Children's Writing section of the "Share Your Work" forum. That's the place to ask for feedback on a work in progress.

Good luck!
