OK, I write this script. Not because I enjoy to writing, but because I have a story that needs be told. I doubt I will write another. The subject matter is of a philanthropic nature. I want to be apart of this project from beginning to end. There are those out there who I believe would be interested in making charitable contributions to ensure the films production. I have discussed these matters with nonprofit and fund raising consultants, but I’m unsure of their advice.

Is it good, under these circumstances, or any for that matter, to create a promotional webpage for a “completed” script? Any one done this? URL examples would be grand…

Anyone working on a non-profit script for film, commercial, etc? I'm looking for general advice concerning a website.

I also thought of doing a website. Don't think putting the complete script there is a good idea, though. Maybe the first couple of pages--the tease. But I don't think agents go to websites for scripts. Only books. If that. Best bet, I think, is to try to find a production company or agent to represent the script. A script needs to be produced, not read. That's the problem we have as scriptwriters. Good luck!

you might try writing an article (or story) and submitting to magazines or websites. the odd of getting any script produced are small - even ones with talent attached. odds against this type script are pretty bad. i don't think a website would help. don't know what approach you should take. if pic isn't entertainment it probably won't be produced. if pic is dramatic in nature - it's still in the same boat with all other entertainment
