They rejected my first two already self published, but accepted my 3rd unpublished. They offered $1 upfront and 8% commission.

No thanks, I will wait for Tor to reject me. I haven't got my rejection quota yet this year.

This outfit is unreal.

I wouldn't let PA touch my stuff. Ever. I've never had to deal with them, but everyone should just stop trying to deal with them.
There's tons of info on AW about dealing with PA.
Anyone thinking of dealing with PA should read it.

Sam:

Pat Walsh, founding editor of MacAdam/Cage Publishing, has published a book called, "78 Reasons Why Your Book May Never Be Published and 14 Reasons Why It Just Might."

I recommend anyone having self-published or vanity published or PA- reverse-vanity published take time out before submitting anything to TOR or any other mainstream publisher; otherwise, you may just be wasting time and money.
