Wow...great list, Cathy! Thanks much...maybe I won't give up on my novel after all. There's a couple of new ones there I might try.

I would suggest adding the epublisher Loose Id, loose-id.com. They compare favorably to most other romance epublishers out there IMHO.

Will do, vein! Thanks for the tip. :)

Amatory Ink's website seems to have disappeared.

A lot of the erotica publishers listed at ERA focus on erotic romance -- I think there are a couple there that might be worth adding, although I'll need to go through the list and see which ones you don't already have:

I noticed on today's Craigslist that they are hiring editors, if anyone is interested.

Question... is there a list anywhere of agents who take romance? The Agents Market books have a listing that is pretty much useless... it lists all agents who mention romance in their listing. Some of these have it as "not accepting."

Other than going through and reading them one by one-- which is not fun-- there has to be some other way.

I wanted to find one and add it to my links list but never could. If you guys/gals know of even a meaty partial listing, that would be awesome.

It's a really informative list. I like that you've added standard royalty rates where available. Might be time to remove Trisklion though.

Thanks! Yeah, I need to update again. The only problem with doing lists is keeping them current... sigh.

As for agent lists, MMcC, the RWA National website has one of the best romance agent lists (those who actually have SOLD romances) out there. If you're not a member, you might consider joining. Yeah, there are some problems right now, but hopefully the incoming president and committees can start to straighten things out. I might mention that I've put myself up for a committee chair. As soon as I find out if I've got it, I'll be seeking committee members. I have a feeling a few of you might be interested... ;)

Cathy, I am interested as soon as you know something. Thanks a lot for the work you put into listing the romance publishers for us.

It's not always the most current list, but a fairly reliable list of romance agents can be found here:

Cathy:

I want to say thanks for the list and to reiterate that yours is one of the best.

:)
