Newbie on board

I wanted to hop on and say a friendly hello to all the people out there.

I am on a new journey with these children's books I have written and am completely lost as to where to go. I find myself staring out in the big world of words trying to find a gap and a sense of direction. I tried to self publish my first book, and now I sit with 2,400 hundred books in my spare room.

I will not give up on this journey for I love my books. I am so glad that I happen to stmble upon this site, I see it as tripping on a tree root and finding futher nurishment beneath the leaves to to guide me on my journey.

AFTER 11! Yikes I'm usually in bed by then. Sad to say my life is most uneventful.

gee, now if litereary agents and publishers were as kind as you guys we'd all have it made. Such a tough world, nice to know I'm not the only one out there.

Lets see, what am I going to do with all those books? Maybe wall paper my kids room? Or I can build a huge house of books and my boys can use it as a fort. In all seriousness, I am going to get stickers made up and put them on the inside of my books with info on where to purchase them and the website and take them to Dr.'s offices, dentists offices and so on.

This selling books thing is really a challenge, I learn as I go. It's tough to get a break in there. If you have any other suggetions I would love to hear them. I am open to anything short of selling my body (which I wouldn't get much for).

So thats the next step in my world of selling my books. I would like to get bookmarkers made up but they cost an arm and a leg. Darn money! The thing that stinks the most is that my other stories are so much better than this first one and I can't do anything with them until I get the money back from my first book. We invested our own money to print the first book so we need the cha-ching back.

I have faith, and can't give up, something will happen. Hey, I've come this far. I actually went through with a dream, thats payment right there.
