Let's see... I'm on disablity, the spawn are drving me nuts, we caved and let the Princess bring home a puppy (we already have 3 cats and another dog) CB and Vincent expect cop smut in 2 days, i pulled a story from one pub because they'd had it for 12 weeks (re-sub they'd had the first since 4/15 and lost it), and I stepped on one of the cats and fell down the stairs...

I've been better.

James, sorry to hear that. Hope the rest of your week goes more smoothly.

I'm just plugging away at some new stories. It's Monday, so my brain is dragging.

Oh, man, James. And here I've been whining about an ear infection. And an excess of legal work with short deadlines that leaves no room for writing fiction.

Okay, I'll get over myself now.

Hope everyone else is writing bunches.

No writing at the moment. Not much time right now, and I really don't go for writing smut when I can't trust either the crumblies or the anklebiters to keep their hands off my computer. :)

Not much writing here either. Guess that's why everyone's been in hiding?

I am about halfway through a sci fi novella but have hit a plot bump. Currently I am deciding whether to detoir or use a shovel.

Oh, hey, I'm glad this thread got bumped, b/c I've FINALLY got some life to show.

I finished the novella, Her Favorite Vice, that I've been insanely editing for longer than the total amount of time I scheduled to write it. Well, it's not 100% done and gone; I finished the last major edit, and just have to go through it one last time for any typos/glitches I may have introduced in the last edit.

The plan is to get it submitted by mid-week. Can't wait to get it off my desk.

And, yes, I'm working on the next project already, like a good doobie.

I got promoted at work, but it means less down time to write at the end of the day of course. As to my naughty story-I'm down to my final resolution chapter. Last night my dad caught me reading a different story aloud. That was weird. I always edit by reading aloud, so when I finish that's how I want to edit this kinky. I'll just need to find some no parents around time to do it!

I know what would liven this place up:

Wet Leather Tee-Shirt Night!

'Course, shrinkage under hot lights is a problem. Don't want anybody's eyeballs popping out, ya know.

Might need to rethink this one a bit.....

Dude, the wetness is to make the fabric transluscent, dig? Cotton is best.

Leather is for the tiniest G-string contest.

That would put quite a bit of strain on the ole twig and berries though.

I'm about to be *busy*. Haven't had opportunity to write for a couple of months, so I've still got Dolphin Dreams to revise, and now I've committed myself to write a novella from that short story published at Clean Sheets, in time for publication for Valentine's Day. No more hanging around gossiping on writing boards, not if I don't want my editor filleting me with a blunt knife come New Year and no manuscript. :)

If only the working for a living didn't get in the way of my creative inner self I could be living the life,, finding more time and probably publish.. however I just got slapped with a huge dose of reality and need to alot time for everything as usual. I would enjoy more chit chat on this site, I feel comfortable with the topics and not like a "freak" for the sort of writings I do

Right now, I'm doing some reading while my second book is at the publishers, awaiting their approval. I'm reading "Stealing shadows" by Kay Hooper. It's an old one of hers, but a very good one, as is all of her books.
I'm also working on a short story, that had been ripped to shreds by the critique group at the fish tank website. Sometimes I wonder if having your work critiqued by other writers worth the aggravation.
