Hello,

I really need a writing partner ASAP. I've been looking for one for a long time. I want a writing partner who's dedicated and serious about writing, just like me. Not someone who would stop writing after 2 emails and who takes 3 weeks to write back:Wha:. I'd also love to hear from someone who writes in the same genres as me ! I want someone who would critique my work, encourage me, exchange ideas, set deadlines for me..etc. (Of course, I'd do the same too.) I get a lack of motivation many times and so I stop writing from time to time :e2zipped: and I don't want to do that anymore.

That said now, let me say something about me.

I'm an aspiring writer who really wants to get published. I write short stories, romance and mystery. Right now, I'm starting a novel. The genre is paranormal romance.

So, anyone interested?:e2writer:

Hey there, just wanted to say hi!

Have you checked out "Share Your Work" yet? You might be able to get some initial feedback there, or find someone who has a critique style compatible with your goals. Or the Romance forum; those guys are extremely knowledgeable and incredibly nice.

I'm writing a paranormal mystery right now, and I'd be happy to help critique and such, but I may not be as intense a partner as you're looking for. Still, if I can help, please let me know!

I too, suffered from the Lack of Motivation problem. You already said the answer though - you said you don't want to stop writing anymore.

Then don't.

Even if you don't feel like going and typing out your novel, or your story, sit down and do it anyway. Let your muse take off, but make sure your body sits and does it anyway. I had to push myself to sit down and just start typing. Sometimes, When I couldn't get my muse out, I would just write in my blog, or write up a review on a movie I just saw, or book I read. I would write SOMETHING. Then, once my fingers got into the motion of going and my mind got into the act of writing, I would focus on my story, and the next thing I knew it was 2 hours later, and I had 4,000 words down.

That's my advice :) I am by no means a mentor, as I need one badly myself, but I did learn how to get past that. The triuck is to do it everyday, and you will become disciplined at it.

I intend to write a paranormal romance for my Nano (and hopefully finish my WIP until then).
I'm not sure if I'm up to the task, but send me a PM if you're still interested.
