Lets brainstorm, this is just begging for a story!

So, I needed a character in my story to help my protag escape from an embassy where she is being held.

I remembered a dude I knew in college- totally shady, multiple passports, something to do with japanese military aristocracy and WWII money.

Well, I looked some stuff up and found this-

Woah- black dragon society? Darkside emperor? It sounds totally nutzoid, but it used to be real. Probably does still exist, which would explain my friend.

Im trying to think- how would I involve a japanese feudal secret society with the contemporary west?
