Dpat, I just wanted to let you know that I was really enjoying your 20 page sample script Higher Than Usual. Got some good laughs in it.

I loved the office scenes. They were intense and funny. My favorite part was the I think it was Dexter coming down the hall with his pocket torn and sort of mangled, telling him they had him in the bathroom. The accountants stealing coffee from their machine!

The last part where he helps the girl in the car was a little lengthy though, dialogue didn't seem very real. But overall I really enjoyed the sample!

For anyone else that wants to check it out here is the link.

Thanks for taking time to read it! By doing so you forfeit the legal right to sue me for any incurred mental damage.

It's been a while since I looked at this one, I'll maybe blow the dust off and take a fresh peek. I try to keep my scripts page updated to remind myself what I should be working on. Then I forget to look at it.

Scene length/dialogue comments noted, I'll keep this in mind when I fire up the chainsaw.

I just read it. You do have a strange and interesting mind Derek! I thought it was good, and I agree with Jerm about that last scene with the girl. Not so much the length of the scene but it almost felt like Mac was whispering - that suddenly his voice changed.
