Hello from Northern California!
Just to let you know a little about myself: I'm 23 and live at home while I attend college, the goal of which I have yet to fully determine >D . In fact, I probably appear to be a momma's boy from the perspectives of those who know me, but it's probably more of a self-characterization due to the fact that I cannot ignore my own awareness of having lived in the same room for over 23 years. At the moment I paint houses for small wages. Regarding writing, I love it almost as much as my soon-to-be fiance, and I've done a fair amount of research on varying topics- loosely academic in style but of personal interest. I enjoy other nonfiction enterprises and fiction as well.
I can't wait to converse with you all (hopefully)!
P.S.- I'm particularly interested in the anxiety disorders board

Welcome fainiswilling. I'm in the Bay Area. Perhaps you should explain that given the housing prices in some parts of northern california, it is not uncommon to be living at home at 23, 28, 32... If you're not a wage slave, the odds of getting a place of your own are slim.

Exactly- I hesitate to move out into an apartment or other similar venue, spending my money on rent when living at home can afford me the opportunity to save a bit for more of an investment. My girlfriend (soon to be fiance) and I want to buy a small house, even if it is a hole, just so we can have the opportunity to get back at least some of what we put into it. Whether this comes true... :)
