dpat will be able to tell you for sure but there was a glitch in the matrix about a month or so ago and many posts were lost I'm afraid.

Futz! Searched everywhere, scrolled through what seems like a thousand pages, but can't find them. I think they were deleted along with the entries to preserve author rights, i.e. in case the entries were works in progress which authors wouldn't want left lying around in the forum. I also can't find comments in my personal archives (sometimes I save threads offline for viewing, since family members often kick me off the internet!) but I'll keep looking just in case the thread(s) has a funny name.

Edit: found a few saved threads on my hard drive... they're html files which you can browse offline (just fire up your browser and select file/open). Or, I can also copy/paste content into one text file and send this to you instead. Let me know which you'd prefer -- email me your email address and I'll reply with an attachment. [email protected]
