formatting an article?

Hiya,

I need help. I'm getting ready to submit my first article on spec to a trade journal, and I want to make sure I do everything right. :shrug Can someone point me to a website with good information on how to correctly format a manuscript?

Different publications have different expectations. Check out your particular publication's website and look for something called Writer's Guidelines. They will detail what the editors would like to see.

In the meantime, double-space, one-inch margins, and make certain you list your contact information at the top of each page, just in case they need to reach you and your cover letter and article get separated.
