My name is Jean, and I'm new to this writer's board.
For the last 2 1/2 years, I've been writing screenplays and teleplays. No, I haven't sold anything, but after I placed in a few competitions last winter, I decided to give my writings a little more attention than I had in the past. I had thought of writing as just a casual hobby. Imagine that.
I relocated from the North down to the South, wrote a few humor pieces on things like "chiggers" and the "wild hawgs" in my backyard, and would like to find an outlet for them. Ya know...A Yank in Dixie type thing.
Anyway...I've already received some good advice over in the Humor Writing and I will be popping in all over the place.
