Hi Everyone!
My name is Andrea and I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pencil. Okay, so maybe not quite that long... I'm sure that I had to learn to speak first.
I've always been fascinated by the emotion that a jumble of words can evoke. I see it so often in my friends, family and in my 'community' of other internet addicts. Words are powerful things but, of course, I think I've always known that.
I tossed myself into the abyss of serious writing about 10 years ago. I love the process of it, the words, the punctuation, the smell of ink and even, for those of us who are semi-permanently attached to our keyboards, the sound of clicking keys as we tap out our life's blood. Can we say 'get a hobby'? ... okay, so maybe I've already found one and I just need more of them.*grins*
At any rate... there's my introduction, quirky as it may be. I'll post and lurk frequently. I'm hoping to learn a lot and maybe make a few friends.
