Hi

This forum looks good. I'm not a published writer as yet but I'm hoping that will change next year.

Natasha.

Welcome Natasha!

I'm a few days older than you here. This sight has got to be the definitive, most massive collection of writers, editors, publishers, and authors anywhere in cyberspace. The "How To" articles alone are enough to inspire and lite bonfires of creative thinking and enlightenment. Just become a sponge bobett and fall into the info ocean. You'll come out soaking wet and full of ideas.

Hi, Natasha!

As Chris said, there are a lot of great people here with a lot of very useful information. Click around, check it out, get to know us! I mod the Goals and Accomplishments board, where we encourage and motivate each other to achieve our writing goals. Stop by any time!

I'm from Canmore in Alberta, Canada. I have a friend in Perth, science fiction author K.A. Bedford. Small world, isn't it?

I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. I have a few Oddsie (I use the term affectionately) friends as well. A couple of them live in Perth.

Re: Re: Another newbie...

It IS a small world.

I have recently found a writers club called The Society of Women's Writers here in Perth and they've finished up for the year, however their first meeting is Jan 18th 2005. I am defintely going to go...they offer annual retreats, a monthly magazine, meetings, workshops and an annual competition. Has anyone else joined a writers club?
