I truly regret not having found this forum before now. Denise knows why. So does Denephew.

Seriously, I had no idea there was a forum on the internet with such a treasure trove of information for writers. I've already spent a good deal of time in here looking through the various boards and am utterly in awe of the amount of information there. And it is important information.

And the members are courteous and full of help. I'm going to enjoy it here and will do my best to be a positive contributor.

There are so many forums, though, it's going to take me awhile to check them all out, but I am positive we've both made a good choice, both for helping further our careers with the wealth of knowledge and advice from some bona fide real writers and making new friends.

You guys might have made a jail break from another site, but this place is all refugees from somewhere or another. But we're all a bunch of good crooks--like Aussies...

Thank you, Eraser. I won't blow my own horn but will say that Denise is a fine lady and an upcoming writer. I've seen some of her current WIP and hope she goes on to finish it and get it into an agent's hands.

If you have a chance, visit my post (417 words) on the Share your Writings board. I'd like some meaningful feedback on the new opening scene for my own current WIP.

Chunky, Will is really not my uncle! This started at writersnet when he called me Denephew instead of Denise, and I called him Unk. That was a few months after our first encounter, in which we locked horns a couple of times. Now, we are very good friends, I am happy to say.

We've never had the pleasure of meeting. Not yet, anyway. :D I thought I'd just clear that up before everyone thought the rest of the Brady Bunch would be along any minute!:rollin

Thanks for the welcome. And for all the work you've put in here to provide meaningful content for writers. "Excited" best describes my feelings upon finding AW and I'm looking forward to helping and being helped.
