Introduced myself in the WRONG PLACE!

I introduced myself here by mistake. I am so sorry! I hope you all will forgive me. Is there a way I can move it over here? SO embarrassed. Boy, way to start off with my foot in my mouth.

Glad to be here, though! (On a technical note, how do I get my signature line to be smaller? It's kind of large and obnoxious at the moment.)

Good to have you here Martha. And wonderful news on your book. How exciting. I am sure your insight in the whole publishing thing, as a new author, would be very interesting to others.

For example, how did you get all those wonderful blurbs from the other authors. Did you simply query them and send them a galley copy for endorsements? Or did your publisher do that?

Stephenie Hovland

That's okay. We'll forgive you. I'm looking forward to reading about your experiences with publishing and writing.

Hi (again) Martha. I read, and commented on, your intro on the Novel Writing board.

I'll copy it and move it over here but I think I'll let the one on the NW board stay there as well. Budding novelists will appreciate your story and they don't always wander over to the Newbie board.

Welcome again. :)

Thanks, Frank, for keeping Martha's posting on the Novel Writing board. Martha, I'd really like to hear an on-going play-by-play of how it's going with your new book from now 'til after its release in bookstores. I'm sure others will appreciate it, too. Again, (from Novel writer's board) congrats!

Wow! St Martins won out on the bid, eh. That's great for you, Martha--quite a success story.

Martha, I think your cry for sig-help was overlooked. As a certifiable techno-dweeb I'm no darn good for you.

But Chunky is a whiz....and Maestro no slouch I believe....

Hi! Thanks for the kind welcome. I'm still messing around with this signature thing. I, too, am a techno-dweeb (great word, btw).

Whee! My signature looks decent. Before it was going for about four feet beyond the right hand side of the screen, and I was messing up everyone else's postings.

Take care,
Martha
