Well, this is my first time on one of these forums.

A little about myself: I've been writing since seventh grade, and have enjoyed every single moment of it. I prefer writing fantasy and fiction and short stories. However, due to the completion of a novel, new wories over publication and and agents and editors have cropped up.

On top of these concerns, I find that my writing style tends to change the deeper I go into my writing, and I find myself having to edit and re-edit the same sections over and over. Anyone have any tips?

Hi bwf. The best tips I can give you right now are to check out our Bewares and Background Check board for info on agents and publishers and the Novel Writing board for recent threads on dealing with your internal editor.

Get comfy, catching up could take a while. :)

Hello black wing, and welcome. I can't think of any advice better for a newbie than what aka just gave you. Have a look around and enjoy!

Welcome, bwf! Yeah what Erase said. There's a world of information on this wonderful board. Make sure to read every post in "Writing Novel" -- that should take you a few weeks, but well worth your time.

Hi BWF

I've not been here long myself either, but I have found the information here excellent.

Have fun and all the best with your writing.

Re: hey there

Thank you all!

I've started the Writing Novels section and have discovered the sage advice of Learning to Write with Uncle Jim. Most helpful!

Welcome, BWF! I'm pretty new myself, but Writing Novels seems the place to be!:D

Hi, Martha,

I read about your success with your book, The Bitch Posse; congrats, again! I can't wait to see it in stores.
