I'm sure you already know I'm a newbie here. I've explored the forum a few times and I finally decided to introduce myself. My name is Andrea. I'm 21 years old and I've been writing for almost 12 years now. Though its only been about 2 years that I've been writing serious.
I'm single, never been married, no kids. Though I don't know how relevant that is. I currently just moved to Oklahoma. Texas is and always will be my home state.
I write YA mainstream/contemporary short stories right now. I've thought about doing a novel but just haven't taken the big leap yet. I found out recently that a poem I wrote (ironicly for an ex-bf) is going to be published on runesmag.com sometime in the spring. I'm very excited considering this will be my first published piece.
Right now writing is my full time job, since I haven't been able to find work here yet. I'm the moderator of an online critique group at writerbuddy.com for children and young adult writers.
Okay. I think I'll quit rambling now. I hope to meet some of the wonderful people here. Thanks.
