Historical war story/romance
In the grand sense a Romance is a book set in exotic times or places in which adventure happens. It really has nothing to do with male-femal relationships except as they add to the conflict.Anyway, I am starting Blood on the Sun (I am afraid the formatting is going to be screwed up, I cannot seem to use bold or Italic) It's laid in Northeastern France during Aoril of 1917. The subject is a single fighter squadron of the Royal Flying Corps.April of '17 was called `Bloody April'. The second battle of Arras claimed more British lives per day than at any other time during the war. Many of these were British pilots flying outmoded aircraft against German opposition which was technically superior.Anyway - the first chapter's about half-way done.Regards,Scott
