Advice on Bio

Hello,

I am about to submit to a on line publisher and they ask for a bio. Can anyone tell me what do I put in the bio? I've never had to do this before and don't want to make a mistake and put out the wrong info. Thanks :hi:

Did they tell you how many words they wants?

Usually it's at the end of the text: Jane Doe is a freelance writer based in Anytown, USA. Her work has appeared in X, Y and Z.

For an online publisher include a link to your homepage (either coded in or in brackets after your name so they can do it)

no, there is no mention of word count. Is 300 words too much?

I would say no more than that. 1-3 sentences should be ample. plug you other work and give a few pieces of information about yourslef to help readers get a feeling for you (e.g. family, job, geographical regions etc)
