I'd suggest asking this over in the SciFi/Fantasy forum. I don't know the agent, or if the story is comparable, but I do know a contributing editor with the Sword Review (handles Christian scifi; they have a partner mag that handles Christian fantasy) who is a Christian and has an agent for her fantasy novel.
