That's nifty veinglory! I wonder if I've posted anything worth submitting...

Hey, the rest of ya'll - submit! Let's get as many AW bloggers in this book as we can - we're great and it will be lots of fun!

Terms?

Thanks for posting this Veinglory!

Did anyone see any mention of rights or payment? I saw in the manifesto that they believe writers should be paid, but no specifics.

Actually, it's not really payment I'm concerned with (it's a blog entry - just getting it published would be awesome enough), but I am wondering what rights they're asking for. One-time anthology, I assume?

I haven't submitted to publishers very often - if they don't mention what rights they're expecting, should I mention in the email what my assumption is, or just wait and ask questions if they're actually interested?

Thanks all,

Greasy Spoon

It is light on specifics but I am not sure it has even been decided. I assume they will 'make an offer' on anything they like...

Okay, well, I just wasn't sure if I was missing a link on the page to more specific information.

I've just submitted a piece of flash fiction I wrote as part of my arts and culture-themed blog, so I'll just cross my fingers and hope I hear something good back. (Or hear something back at all. I still haven't heard from a lit mag I submitted to in September...)

Cheers!

Sometimes you just need to do things for fun. If they pay, cool. If not, well you weren't writing your blog posts for paid publication anyway, now, were you? :)
