I know what the summary is, and the teaser should tease. The blurb, what is that? Is it something that blurbs out info packets? Are these all the same by different names?
I'm confused.

Jamesaritchie said:A blurb, as in cover blurb or jacket blurb, is usually something someone else says about your novel. It can be a line from a review of the book, or it can be a sentence from a name writer, etc. It's just a sentence that promotes the book.

Anya Smith said:Thanks, James, Willie. I didn't know someone else wrote the blurb.
One more thing; is the teaser and the summary the same thing?
Anya Smith said:No, I meant the summary or sometimes called teaser page agents and publishers ask for.
