I love Ayn Rand. Atlas Shrugged is one of my favorites!! I need to read that again.

I also suggest Flowers for Algernon and Bastard out of Carolina.

I'm currently reading Steve Berry's The Templar Legacy. I haven't finished it so I can't recommend it. However, his three other novels are quite good if you like intrigue/adventure reading.

As for recommendations, umm that would take more room than is available here.
  • I can suggest: Civilization (Lord Kenneth Clark) This was seialized for PBS TV way back in the'60s.
  • Memoirs of the Second World War (Winston S. Churchill, who said, "I know history will be kind to me because I intend to write it!)
  • The Decline And Fall of the Roman Church (Malachi Martin)Published in the 80s, this was a highly controversial book.
  • How To Be A Gentleman ( John Briggs)
  • Letters of a Nation: A Collection of Extraordainary American Letters (Edited by Andrew Carrol)
  • Lost Friendships: A Memoir of Truman Caopte, Tennessee Williams, and Others (Donald Windham)
All excellent reading.
Of course I wouldn't mind if anyone ran out and bought one of my books!

I found a old copy of 'Sybil' the lady with 14 split personalities. I enjoyed that book also. Not for some i would think since the abuse scenes were very disturbing.
