Next scheduled SF/F chat is in two weeks, March 23, 9PM EST (2AM GMT)

Still working on finding a way to include transcripts. Bear with . . .

I'll probably be there next week, Dama. :Hug2:

Although I won't be able to stay on as late this time. My schedule at work has changed around, so my 5am day is now Friday morning. So I'll have to limit myself to about an hour of chat time.

Oh well, I'll make the most of it. And I'm happy to report that the cheesecake and punch were a rousing success!

Can't you just copy & paste the text of the chat in a post here?

So, are we all thinking up prompts to talk about for the official chat in two weeks

This is great. I'm on spring break then. I can stay up all night. Gotta be careful though. I'm not really allowed to chat. Like this. As wonderful a tool this is. If i get caught on here i will be in deep trouble.

I may have to do just that. I was hoping to attach the text file to conserve band width. Patience.

Yes, please. Should I make a thread just for that purpose?

2AM GMT? Greenwich Mean Time? What time is that in the Eastern Time Zone? I forget how many hours away that is.

Boy is my face red, I am so sorry. I can't believe I glazed over that. I apologize.

No problem, Dhewco. I miss stuff like that all the time. But you know? it sounds as though several of the others liked the first ever chat so much, they plan on dropping by the chatroom more frequently...and that's not a bad thing at all.

So feel free to check it out anytime. You may not always find SF/F afficionados there and in fact, you may not find anyone there at all. But on the other hand, if you do, talking with other writers in real time has to be a good thing, doesn't it?

Okay, so my job really IS trying to make me crazy. Apparently my early day is not changing to Friday, so I will be able to chat as long as I can keep my eyes open.

Dama,

I plan on popping in tonight and seeing who's there. I think we said we would look for each other for informal chats on the "off" Thursdays. I feel like how a dog reacts; I'm thinking, "oh, oh, social hour. Yay. Social hour. Yay."

:Wha:

I'm sorry I had to miss it. My internet went down just before 9. The good news is that it was the last straw after months of shoddy service, & I finally called SBC & complained (a sucky hour & a half of talking instead of chatting OR writing). Two days later, though, my internet is all fixed, & all that down time made me stay off the board & finish my WIP :hooray: (can you tell I'm really happy about that?) Anyway, looking forward to this week's. Do we have a plan or just general SF/F chatting?
