I hate to waste forum space with such a simple question, but I did a search and couldn't find if it has ever been asked before.
When a character mouths a word, how is that conveyed? Do you use quotes for the mouthed word even though it wasn't spoken? Italics as you would a thought? Nothing?
She glanced up and seeing I was still standing there waved her hand in a shooing manner and mouthed, “Go.”
or
She glanced up and seeing I was still standing there waved her hand in a shooing manner and mouthed, Go.
