Hello, everyone.
I've posted this in the Sci-Fi section as well, as I wasn't sure which would be more appropriate. I could use your help coming up with the title for the second book in my proposed trilogy. I want it to go along with the other two titles, but I'm missing a good word for it. Let me explain as briefly as possible:
Book 1 - Memoirs: Rise of an Exile
Jae Benedict is an Exile, a genetically-engineered human outlawed by the governments on Mars. Those same governments are now controlled by Metatron, an omniscient computer program worshipped by many as a god. Raised in a remote swamp by a Terran--or naturally-born--foster mother and occasionally visited by her estranged military stepfather, Jeriah grows up in isolation believing the propaganda humanity had spread for decades.
The Exiles unexpectedly return, launching a war they claim is to overthrow the oppressive Metatron. Jae's adopted parents are killed, leaving her alone and confused. Humanity treats her like the enemy, and so she sides with the Exiles by mere default. Eventually she learns that the Exiles really are there to help, but for humanity's sake can't reveal their plans. Jae disobeys orders to tell the threatened humans - whom Metatron has now turned against. presuming they are all against him - the truth. She becomes an unexpected hero, leading the humans to revolt against Metatron and finally destroy him.
Book 2 - Memoirs: ????? of an Exile
Jae is arrested for her crimes and sentenced to imprisonment. After hearing of this, Doctor Marr Vo (the creator of the Exiles; held prisoner in the first book until Jae rescues him) immediately demands her release. He promotes her to one of his most trusted aides, and asks for her assistance in another impending crisis. The Pravus - one of only two alien races mankind knows about - grows closer to Mars and may soon attack. Marr Vo asks Jae - who is still hailed as a heroine to many of the people - to help rally the people and governments of Mars to combat the threat.
As most people distrust or even despise Exiles, with the exception of Jae, they pay her little regard. With little choice but to seek aid from the "Qwarks" - the other known alien race - Jae is sent on a diplimatic mission to due so. En route she is attacked and crash lands on a planet once thought to be devoid of life. There she discovers a timid but seemingly magical race that has been fighting the Pravus for centuries. After weeks of living with these gentle Sapavians, Jae finally has a means of returning home. When she does, the Sapavians decide to help destroy the Pravus once in for all.
A war ensues in Martian orbit between a fragile alliance of Humans, Sapavians and Exiles and the Pravus. Eventually the Pravus are defeated, but not destroyed, and the nearly-exterminated Sapavians return home - leaving Mars to heal once again.
Book 3 - Memoirs: Fate of an Exile
Just as the pieces are being picked up, Jae - now a General of sorts - notices that Marr Vo and the Exiles are becoming increasingly strict and controlling over normal Humans. After investigating the matter she discovers that the Exiles were Marr Vo's vision of a "master race," devoid of the "impurities" that normal Humans suffer. With the Pravus threat gone and finally respected by humanity, Marr Vo launches a campaign to "purify" the world.
Jae and several others that see what's going on confront Marr Vo, only to be threatened with imprisonment or worse should they stand in his war. Forced to act quickly, Jae deserts along with a good portion of the Exile Army. A civil war ensues between Jae's forces and the Exile Army itself. Whereas Jae has the backing of Humans, Marr Vo enlists the help of an unexpected source - the Pravus. After another major war, Jae's forces manage to kill Marr Vo and the leaders of the Pravus fleet. The grateful Humans offer Jae a political leadership position, which she declines - instead travelling the solar system as a good will embassador and watching for any other dangers that may threaten her people.

Anyway, the second book is the one that needs a title, as I've said. So any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
P.S. Originally I had "Tears of an Exile" for the second book. However, most of the "sad" elements such as her parents dying, etc, were moved to Book 1. So now what name's kinda defunct.
