She sure seems to be handling it gracefully. I lost a friend to cancer just over a year ago, and his wife, too, was so good at taking care of him and being able to let him go. Grief, yes. But, grace - even more so.

I sent her a note to tell her how much her books have touched me and my three year old son. She wrote back, even took the time to visit my website, which is in my e-mail sig. What a class act.
