I have a question about book category.
I have adapted a journal that I kept during two hurricane evacuations (Katrina and Rita). It's still in journal format, but it now has all of the background needed to bring a reader along for the ride with me.
My book doesn't seem to fit nicely into any category, even though it has elements of a lot of different types. Is there a word for this type of book? Or am I going to be stuck explaining the whole thing as what it kind of is, but mostly isn't?
