J-Down Undah:
Saw it. Loved it. There's an array of haunting, charming, real imagery. The dialogue is a tad off center, but well done. It's one of those films that doesn't have a traditional third act "whammo" climax (Anyone who giggles at that word gets sent to Jenna's office for counseling), but, there is a finale and a finality to it. I loved the archery metaphor, too. And there's a cute fat kid.
But (and this is a J-Lo sized 'but) it's probably a film the 80 percentile in the middle of the movie watchin' audience just won't get (and, puhl-leeze, toss them SpidermatrixVonTitanic anytahm).

PS, to anyone who had "knee surgery" in the "things that are happening this month to Jason" office pool -- you're a winner.
PPS, I've just been handed the DVD of "Lord of War," another Nick Coppola classic to watch. That's my Friday fun before being engulfed by middle Georgia boredom. Hugs from the part of the country that makes Red States rosy.
PPP-Freakin'-S, My Eddie Izzard DVDs are still funny. Anyone else's?
