Idea about a show about family

I writing about a show a family. I got this Idea from soul food the pitcure. It became a good tv show and I think I can write one exept mine is about my family and what we go though so it won't be the same at all. mine is about the crazy things that goes on in between the family. not about having dinner with the family.

If you are asking for feedback on your idea, it would serve you well if you provided more detail. For example, who the characters are in this family, what provides conflict for this drama, where it is set - that sort of thing.
