Mods: I'm not sure if this is the right category, feel free to change it if I've goofed.

Okay, I've beta'd a lot of fanfics, over a hundred or so, and I can get through roughly 350 pages/week.
Now I want to move into actual manuscripts. So I thought that I could turn this into profit. So I'm considering starting a professional beta reading service. Basically I beta read someone's MS, pick apart the plot and tell them what I like, what needs to change and what to burn with fire and they pay me a very low fee for it.

This isn't an editing service because I do not plan on doing LBLs or Proofing. Just reading the manuscript.

I'm a second semester English major and that's about my only qualification, aside from the fanfics. What I want to know is would this be a marketable website?
Please feel free to give your opinion.
Once again: Mod Squad, if this is the wrong category feel free to migrate it.
Thanks.

I think you would do much better to volunteer/work on your school's lit mag and newspaper.

Beta readers are valued, but they volunteer for each other. They aren't paid.

Better still, start your own blog and post book reviews.
