Do you mean books that were originally published by small presses and then picked up by major publishers that went on to become best-sellers?
You'd have to first define "best-seller" and "small press," I think, and establish over what period of time you mean.

And what is the definition of "best-selling"? If you ask ten people, you probably get ten different answers. I mean, Amy Fisher's iUniverse book went up to NYT #14. Does it mean anything as far as iUniverse is concerned?...

If something makes the NYT best seller list, isn't that significant? Why wouldn't iUniverse care?

Maybe I just don't know what iUniverse is.
