I got an email that one of my novels passed the first round and the senior editor is going to read it. But I've made revisions since then. Do I tell her and send her the new one or wait to see if I even get an offer?

Same response I always give -- Why would you make revisions to something that was ready to send out?

Etiquette would dictate sending a note that you have a revised version and asking if they would prefer to see that over the original.

Congrats! Senior editor sounds like a pretty big deal.

I second what WF said. Just a brief note that you have a revised version you'd like to send in.

I revised it after agents had asked for a revision. This submission was done before all that. I will email her and let her know. THanks.
