[FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]Just wanted to share a use for Tumblr.[/FONT]
[FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]The setting of my books is particularly visual. I've paired photos from around the city with quotes from my books. [/FONT]
[FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]Flickr was a great source for interesting images. Of course, I contacted each photographer to get permission for each photo I used, and made sure that clicking that photo links back to the photog's flickr stream.[/FONT]
[FONT=Helvetica, sans-serif]I'm not expecting a lot of readers to “find” me via this tumblr, so I guess it's not really “promotion.” I just wanted to share this visual aspect of my stories and Tumblr turned out to be a good system for that. I'll link to it from my website and maybe mention it on FB/Twitter when I update. It's a mostly static collection that I'll gradually expand over time.[/FONT]
