Long time lurker, mostly on the agent/publisher scam threads, and last night I finally got off my butt and decided to register.

So hi, I'm Jen. An aspiring novelist finishing up the third draft of my first novel. I've gotten it rejected once, and I'm looking forward to having it rejected many more times. And maybe even accepted.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this community; I'm amazed at the wealth of information available here!

Welcome, Jen! As you know, there's a lot of good info here. Keep writing, keep submitting those queries. (My one hint is to put a finished ms. aside for a month, in a drawer. No peeking. After the month is up, reread the entire thing. You'll see where it might need polishing. Then send out queries to several targeted publishers. And keep repeating, "I will get published.")
