This was quite an eye opening article, thanks for posting it up. I'm not sure exactly *what* I'd use this info for, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to use it somehow.

Hey, this is kind of a late reply, but in the TRSF (Technology Review Science Fiction) anthology, the story Cody by Pat Cadigan has an interesting story related to this. I won't give it away unless asked.

By the way, it's a pretty good anthology, Technology Review is a website run by MIT that covers science and technology news, and they commissioned writers to write stories about science that is currently 'hot.' There are some pretty good stories in there.

Interesting article.

I esp. like all the comments following in which many readers believe they are chimeras because of dense bone structure, strange facial features, one green and one blue eye, etc. :D

This phenomenon sometimes occurs in Down Syndrome individuals in that not all of their cells have that extra chromosome. When I had my son (Down Syndrome) the doctors said it was a rare occurrence, but would be a 'blessing' if my son were a chimera.

He was not one.
