Your Agent's Pending Submissions

Most agents caution their clients not to put sub stats online, be it when querying agents or on sub to publishing houses. It's too easy for someone to figure out who you are and then see, "Oh, this book's been on sub for X-amount-of-time already?" Putting that information out there can come back and bite you. My own agent says it's best to keep it vague and not mention specifics if I talk about being on sub.
