Hi,

I was on Facebook the other day and came across an advert which which lead me to a page that talked about helping aspiring writers get their author name exposed on the Internet and get paid for doing it.

I applied and they seem legit and really helpful. There is no upfront fee or anything they just want people to write for them and you get paid and get your name exposed, pretty awesome deal if you ask me.

I am now in the process of writing ebooks for them and get a percentage of the profits each time an ebook is sold.

Anyhow thought this may help some of you who enjoy writing, want to get your name exposed and make some money also.

Page is here: <<<SPAMMY LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR>>> if your interested.

Misspelled words and grammar aside, this was a huge red flag to me:
The book that you have published appears within Google’s search engine. Buyers click on the link and buy directly from Amazon

The keywords being "Buyers click on the lick." They have to be searching for your book first. Many sales at Amazon are impulse buys from the "also bought" list. A cover pops up, it looks interesting, so you click on the book cover and read more about it. Other buyers go to Amazon when they already know the name of the book or the author they want, they are not browsing.

I don't know where the company in question got their statistics, so can't comment on if they are accurate or not. They certainly are not accurate for me and my e-books.

It sounds like they give you the topic, you write 10-20,000 words on whatever the topic is, then they take a chunk of your money.

I hope it works out well for you.

ETA: There is no name or contact information on the website. You have to give your information first. They also list NovelRank as an accurate accounting site for sales of e-books. NovelRank has not been a proven resource, especially when a book is selling well. I can't see this kind of endeavor ending well for the writer.

I am a big 'fail' when it comes to promoting but meh that looks fishy to me.

I think I would rather fall flat on my face than use a service like that :/
