Your story must run about 1000 words--edit it until it's within 25 of that count, which is good practice for us all--and must include exactly three of these signs of Spring: baby chicks, baseball's return, bunnies, Cadbury creme eggs, daffodils, ducklings, flowering trees, goslings, grass which grows rapidly, jelly beans, jogging outdoors, lambs, peeper frogs' calls, pussy willows in bud, robins, spring cleaning, tapping maple trees.
A polished work is nice, but we're busy people and this is just for fun, so don't spend too much time. Your story can include any activity, any combination of any people, any level of heat, so long as it meets AW's guidelines for posting.
