Well, I've been seeing commercials for that movie Bloodrayne. Like the cinematography looks all right, but to listen to the trailer and to watch its editing, it came off like a straight-to-video movie. Then Michael Madsen says some line that has incredibly bad delivery and then the release date's shown and it's actually got a rating, like it's going to be in theaters!
So I think maybe I'm misjudging a book by its cover. Maybe it was just unfortunate that good filmmakers weren't able to get the budget they needed to make a decent movie and Mike's lines were taken out of context. So then I go to IMDb to see how many stars folks had given and to see who directed it. Lo and behold...it's our old friend, Uwe Boll.
For those of you who don't remember, he conned a poster here or an acquaintance of a poster. Whoever it was...Boll was really finnicky about what he wanted in the script our boy was recruited to write. And...if I remember correctly, when payday came...Boll was nowhere to be found and no payments for services rendered were made.
So yeah...not that you were gonna see Bloodrayne anyway, but do try to send a message that con-art isn't real art.
